Around 10pm of April 29, 2022 Joppa Magnolia and mutual aide departments were alerted to a reported townhouse fire in the Rumsey Island area of Joppatowne. Crews found smoke showing on arrival. The fire was quickly contained. One firefighter suffered minor injuries but refused EMS transport.
