Bus Accident Injures 27

Prior to 7am Sunday morning the Joppa Magnolia VFC was alerted to assisting the Baltimore County Fire Department with an bus accident on SI95 at mile marker 71.8. Of the 47 bus occupants, 27 people were injured. 15 patients were transported to Franklin Square Hospital, Bayview Medical Center or Upper Chesapeake Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.

Auto Fire With EMS on the Highway

This past Saturday Evening Joppa Magnolia was alerted for a reported auto fire on NB I95 at the Winters Run Bridge. Crews arrived to find a full involved car. Fire was quickly extinguished. EMS was requested for 3 patients with minor injuries.

Natural Gas Detector Give Away

On Saturday May 21nd Joppa Magnolia partnered with DeNova Detect to distribute FREE natural gas alarms to residents. This was in response to the house explosion in Edgewood last year.

Solar Panel Fire In Joppatowne

On May 11, 2022 Joppa Magnolia and mutual aide departments were alerted for a dwelling fire in the 1000 BLK of Emmerick Dr in Joppatowne. Units arrived with solar panels on fire that extended into the attic.
No injuries were reported.

May Chimney Fire In Joppatowne

On a cold raining afternoon on May 7,2022 Joppa Magnolia & mutual aide companies responded to reported a chimney fire in the 800BLK of Bradley Rd in Joppatowne. Units arrived to find fire showing from the chimney. The fire contained to the chimney and no injuries were reported.
